Privacy Policy

JBNX LLC ("JBNX", "we", "us") operates jbnx.io, the client portal at jbnx.io/support, and the billing portal at bill.jbnx.io. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
- What you give us. Name, email, phone, business name, project brief, budget range, links to sites you like, and any files you upload (logos, photos, PDFs) when you request a mockup, an audit, or a build.
- Account data. If you create a portal login: email, a hashed password (or a magic-link token), your profile, your requests, and the messages you exchange with the studio.
- Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the card's last four digits, brand, and the transaction record — never the full card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs what it holds.
- Usage data. If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the mockup form is completed. Server logs record IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and debugging.
Why we use it
- To design and deliver the mockup, audit, site, or app you asked for.
- To run your account, answer messages, and bill you for care and studio time.
- To keep the sites we host online and secure.
- To understand which pages and ads bring in real projects, so we can stop paying for the ones that don't.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your project brief, uploads, or messages with anyone outside the people and services needed to do the work.
Who we share it with
- Supabase — database and file storage for the portal and intake forms.
- Railway — hosting for jbnx.io and client sites.
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional email (login links, confirmations).
- Google — Analytics (if enabled) and fonts.
- AI tools — we use AI models on design, code, and copy. Project briefs may be sent to those tools to produce your work. We do not send payment data or passwords to them.
We also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of JBNX, our clients, or others.
Cookies and tracking
The portal uses a session cookie so you stay logged in. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets its own cookies; you can block them with a browser extension or by disabling cookies for this site. We do not use advertising cookies on jbnx.io. Ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta) may track clicks from their ads to our site under their own policies.
Retention
Leads and project requests are kept for as long as the relationship is open plus three years, so we can honor free-revision terms and answer billing questions. Uploaded files are deleted within 90 days of a project closing unless they are part of a live site. Billing records are kept for seven years for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete anything sooner (see below), and we will unless a legal obligation says otherwise.
Your choices
- Email hello@jbnx.io to see, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We respond within 30 days.
- Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. We do not do either, but the request address above still applies.
- You can close your portal account at any time from the Profile tab or by emailing us.
Security
Sites are served over HTTPS with HSTS. Database access is row-level restricted so clients see only their own requests and messages. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth; we never see them. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you promptly and say what happened.
Children
jbnx.io is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date above moves and material changes are noted here. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
